I'm so glad you're here. Wondering how it all started? I started painting when I was 30. I was wanting to purchase some abstract art for my home and couldn't find something that matched in a decent price range so I decided to try and make something myself. I spent some time creating my first painting on canvas. Once done, my younger sister didn't believe me that I had made it myself. I started painting more pieces and had so much fun making awesome designs and was so excited to start selling my art a few months later.
It's been a juggling act to continue to be on this journey with my art and balance life with family and friends and I've been very blessed to have made the progress that I have. The most satisfying aspect of creating art is sharing something awesome with people. I appreciate that I am able to provide art that people will be excited about when they look at it everyday. It's like creating something that didn't exist yesterday which is somewhat innovative.
I started out selling small pieces of artwork and spent many years investing my time in stock photography, print on demand and the occasional licensing deal. While I enjoyed this, I underestimated the importance of being able to connect directly with customers and establishing my own relationship with admirers of my art. I'm always working hard to continue to create new and legit pieces of artwork that buyers will be thrilled to display in their home or office space.
When I'm not painting, I enjoy spending my time with family and friends, walking my dog, working out, hiking, paddle boarding, restoring furniture, eating cheeseburgers and drinking coffee. I also enjoy decorating and interior design which is part of what inspires my ideas for beautiful art.
When you purchase my art, you are supporting a locally owned business and a veteran owned business.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
